The deeds of the past should never be forgotten by our own youth. If the people of today were to follow the selfless deeds of our heroes of the past then we just might be able to defeat the current worldwide threat (Covid) a little bit easier. Also may I say I was sad not to see Australia as a country who were heavily involved on D-Day; in the air (~3000) and on the sea (~3500)... To all those who fought in WWII in both Europe and in the Pacific and then later in Vietnam; thank you. John.

This was such a great World War II documentary! It was so impactful to hear all of the stories from the people who experienced D-Day firsthand (from the French children in Normandy, to the American GI veterans & many more!) and to learn about this part of history that it not often understood in the U. S. So grateful to Christian and to the whole production team who brought all of this together to create a beautiful and moving documentary about the power of sacrifice and forgiveness.

This documentary was moving. It was real. I had no idea there were people in France with that much conviction in preserving that part of theirs and our history. The need for appreciation towards those who gave all to preserve freedom is critical in a time where much of the world is willing to give away our freedoms a piece at a time for a fleeting moment of comfort and false promises of a brighter future with government control in every aspect of life.

Um, lets be honest, that ship sailed decades ago. The best generation and all that went with it has nearly left the building. Clearly 2020/21 proves its a lost cause.
