Flophouserecords - This is a reply to your review. Are you for real 10/10 and fantastic. Did you even watch the movie? Are you related to someone in the cast/crew? This 'movie' was total garbage. It has literally nothing going for it. Acting/plot/sound/lighting were terrible. It had a 'plot' that was so ridiculous I had to force myself to watch this rubbish to the end to give it credible review. Nothing in it was compelling or dynamic. New age techniques simply means you have no idea to produce a movie so you bumble through it your own way and call it new and invigorating. There won't be a sequel. No one in the production will be asked to make another movie. Anyone involved in this should be embarrassed and actually start or return to film school. This was lucky it didn't get released in 2023 as it would be crowned the worst movie of 2023 by a landslide.
What a compelling story! I was instantly drawn to the magic of the DIY perfection they were delivering us from the very opening scene. The script is absolutely dynamite, the acting virtually flawless. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is a connoisseur of new age recording techniques and sound dynamics. I don't want to give it away but the title itself kind of does that for us. If there is anything bad I can say about this film that hasn't been said is it should've been longer. All we can ask for is a sequel. Hopefully these incredible movie creators could find it in their hearts to make the "* next door part two. Don't let us down guys!"
I could not get past five minutes of this garbage. This looks like it was filmed on a handheld VHS camera in the ghetto. Everything about this was as amateurish as you could get! The lighting. The acting. The film quality. The sound. The script. I honestly don't think I can write six hundred characters about this so called excuse for a movie, but I'm going to try, if for no other reason than to save even one person the trouble of trying to sit through this. I swear, this is proof that anybody with a couple of dollars, a few friends and a hand held camera can earn a spot on this site. If you value your time at all, stay as far away from this as you possibly can!
