Any parent will find resonance with both the terror of a missing child and also the day to day challenges and joys of being a mom to two girls. At one moment this story moves you to tears and in the next to smiles. The performances are true to life and worthy of all the praise and awards they have received. Sonia Bonspille Boileau has done the impossible of making this difficult issue deeply personal and relatable. Highly recommend watching. This is a story that will stay with you for a long time.
Found this movie very slow and boring. Made it halfway through and fasted forwards to the end. The ending disappointed as well. Would not recommend it.
What a powerful story, it moved me to my core. The devastation and confusion that must come with a child going missing was captured beautifully. The acting was incredible, every single actor was completely in character and each made me feel emotions at different times which is one of my favourite things about thin a movie like this.
Had to wait quite a while to see this movie as I missed it at the Vancouver film festival. I have to say it evoked an emotional response in me As a mother I have felt that panic when a child is late or missing for a time As for Ivy you can see her slowly awakening to the understanding of things no child should have to deal with. But events are seen through a child's eyes which keeps the movie from feeling too dark
Thank you for this movie filled with reality. It is great to see the stpry from a child's point of view
This is a very good watch! Very well acted and very, very realistic. As a parent, you can feel the panic she/ they experience. Great perspective to see it from the little sisters viewpoint. Congratulations to all involved. Very documentary like.
