Dylan is a Native American Canadian who enlists in the military after his lover and cousin kills herself, aka Romeo and Juliet. Almost. He is captured by the Taliban and all sorts of comparisons are made between his family and their family. Between the Arabs and Native Americans and their relationship to the white man. Apparently our commonality was the theme. I was bored for much of the feature, Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Dylan is a native Canadian soldier fighting in Afghanistan. He gets tricked by his interpreter and captured by the Taliban. This is a small Canadian film with some emphasis on native culture. The flashbacks could be more precise. The interrogation gets quite intense. This is a mixed result. There are some good moments but the less competent filmmaking holds it back.
