I've rated over 3,000 and reviewed over 1,700 films, and this hilarious nonsense is the first film I couldn't watch past 15 minutes. Was this nonsense made as a joke and/or a lost bet? For starters, you will cringe and laugh simultaneously at casting middle-aged scrawny brown dudes with zero acting skills trying to pass off as action stars. Even any attempt to see if they actually have any combat skills is impossible from the amateur-hour filmmaking and horrible fight choreography where each move is cut too short and poorly filmed and edited. I'm assuming this was edited post-filming because the actor had zero fighting coordination and skills, and making each move choppy was supposed to impress the viewer, which clearly it didn't. I can't believe someone actually funded this garbage. This nonsense should win every Razzie award possible. A fifth grade drama class can come up with better filmmaking and acting. If anyone can get past the 15 min viewing mark, you get to pick a prize from the top shelf.
Really nice to see something from UArabE (probably my 1st). Different cameras/film but many other similarities. Cool how the whole thing was humor (irony) but could B taken @ face value too. The 'spy techniques' were believable (surveillance, ability to trip off doors remote, etc) acting on par internationally, and plot ripe for a good ol action/adventure. I thought the whole movie moved right along w/o any drags or long parts. Some martial arts for the 'afflicted' there to satiate that appetite. Either way a fun coupla hrs (& a 1/2). Wanted to f/u on the actors, prod co, etc but not much available, too bad. -Chad.
I took a chance on this movie since I knew almost nothing about it. But I really enjoyed it. It had flavorings of Heat, Mission Impossible and Bourne movies, but not derivative of any of them. It was a unique spy story with some cool action scenes with martial arts, which I am a sucker for. And it was surprisingly funny. It was well filmed with characters you care about and had a great ending. I would be interested in seeing more of these characters in future adventures. All in all a fun action movie if you are into those "international spy" style films.
