I think most of America, if not the world, look for great family programming L, and thia movie fit the bill. I'm am older guy, and I had tears several times watching this. I rarely sit thru a whole movie. Usually I don't finish them, or watch them over multiple days, but like a God book you can't put down, I watched this fully without a break. While some might say it was an obvious outcome, there were 2 main twists I did not expect. Dealing with dementia and Alzheimers can be both scary and rewarding, and this movie shows just a small part of that experience. You'll feel very sad, and very happy. I will be looking for more fro thsi writer and director. When I found it was all filmed less than 10 miles from me, I was shocked I'd never heard about it. I'm so glad I just accidently happens across it. I was binge-watching Little House and looked up Karen Grassle and that's when I found this movie. 2 of the others in this movie, it was their last performance, Olympia Dukakis and Cloris Leachman.
I truly enjoyed this movie. Having a disease can be so hard to deal with. But love, patience, and family is so important. This movie was sweet, sad, to the heart, and joyful. The acting may not have been the best but it was still enjoyable. I recommend this movie.
I loved seeing Karen Grassle back on the screen. Her performance was especially strong, like the one of Louis Gosset Jr and Tatum O'Neal. Unfortunately Cloris Leachman and Olympia Dukakis didn't have many scenes, like George Chakiris. But it was nice that so many Oscar winners came together for such an important subject matter. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease and a cure must be found ASAP.
I don't understand why this is being presented as an Alzheimer's film, while it is really a movie about loss. Chris lost his mother and, over the years, lost himself. This is actually much better than what I expected, though the marketing was somehow misleading.
A little gem everyone should be aware of and watch. Beautiful story, music, photography, performances. I really enjoyed the movie and recommend you see it. :)
This was a simple movie...very relatable. Great cast from years past. The messages and lessons learned made for a happy ending, after so much tragedy. The piano piece played by Melody was heartwarming... I love instrumentals and would love to download load it to my Playlist...why can I find it? Thanks for an enjoyable movie and seeing two of the fabulous and funny actresses in their last roles.
I can say ,this is something especial . I truly enjoyed the film. Full of different emotions and with a great message. I really enjoyed the movie and recommend you see it. :)
Alzheimer's Disease is a very important and modern topic. It is something we should all bring awareness to. Not To Forget does so in a very unique way, as it tries to appeal to audiences of all ages. I recommend it and I give it 2 thumbs up.
