Interface

It has some interesting ideas, but the terrible acting is a distraction. At first I thought it was on purpose, but it never let up. Character actions are sometimes illogical because the plot needed it. Motives were never clear and would abruptly change. It was deliberately confusing at first, which I don't necessarily mind, but the confusion had nothing to do with time travel or alternate realities or any other accepted sci fi reason. It didn't add to the story. Most of the sci fi was "here's this thing we need and it works because we said so." It had some interesting elements but felt like a half-hearted effort. The last half hour I just wanted to be done.

I think me giving it a 5 star rating is being generous. Bad acting. Slow story. Weak script. Not worth watching. I am not sure how it has such a high rating. This must have been shot as a college project. The budget must have been less than a few thousand dollars. The characters are also weak and lack depth. The more one sees the main characters, the less appealing they become. If you can keep both eyes open through its whole hour fourtyfive minute length you're a better man than I am. Seldom has so little been said in so many words. I've had mosquito bites that were more entertaining than this movie.
