The dumbest, ignorant, sad american failure of a movie I had the displeasure to watch half through. Everything was bad, the actors, the plot, the production, but the most upsetting thing I found about this movie is how americans are obsessed with material things. It's all about the fake realtionships and how to use and abuse people around you. Not sure how this piece of useless production was finished or why. I hope everyone involved (including the "actors") will find alternative carrers and learn from their failure. Just a sad, useless waste of time that shows unfortunate, fake state of this society.
I had too much coffee but watching it made it a little worse. That being said, it's not the worse film, I mean it's a ripoff attempt of "The Brass Teapot" minus the comedy. Somehow weirdly captivating, with great colors, nice framing, with decent sound, and the plot has potential. However, each scene is dragged, the dialogues are cringe mostly because they are too long, everything is over-pronounced, great for non-English speaking folks but bad for the film, the vibe is too didactic, sure its because it represents 'simple people' but this way of explaining every single thing takes away audience's ability to interpret and think for themselves. I don't like the way the characters are written, it's flat, they seem childish, simple, unchanged, and they sound like the same person. The styling is mediocre, as a film producer myself I know one can do a decent set design and styling with a tight budget, and wouldn't have to be fancy or arty, but there's just no vision here. The life transformation of the main characters should be reflected in the styling, their fashion, home decor but it all looks like it was shot in one day. Homeless folks wearing t-shirts with perfectly cut out holes and all they carry is a sign... c'mon. The score is odd, very ambient, and industrial, with drops of sad piano and violin, it fills nearly every second of the film, and its seriousness badly collides with the awkward dialogues, it doesn't worl well together. Acting, as many others mentioned is cringe, although some folks try, I think the homeless guy is actually ok, the rest not so much, for their defense, there's not much one can do about these dialogues, and considering how everyone speaks in the same manner - I can see its director /producer who enforced this. Unless they are all from one impro class, which I guess is good for them. The bottom line - the lack of comedy, irony, and lightness makes it rather pretentious.

Every line is so contrived and artificial it's almost satirical. Literally a group of high school drama students could deliver lines more convincingly. It's like they took a bunch of grocery store clerks and gave them a script. Watching this movie is like forcing yourself to watch an NSFW Reddit video because you feel compelled to see what the $^#% is going on even though you know you probably should not. Furthermore, it feels like some half-assed attempt to instill some sort of morality into the audience, as if the producers/directors are some kind of religious zealots attempting to force their "morality" on the audience. If I wanted someone to preach to me and tell me that I need to distribute my possessions to the less fortunate in the hopes of gain (with the threat of loss on top of that) I would move to a newly socialist country like Canadistan or the US. This movie became painful to watch shortly after the beginning and I can assure you it gets no better.
I liked the main characher, I think he could star in more movies but the storyling was horrible. So many plot holes and you it felt weird that they just accepted that they kept getting more things instead of figuring out what it was. I think the female actor was the worst!! Cringe after Cringe with horrible acting. I felt like I was watching a bunch of highschool kids try to make a movie.
Everything was horrible about the movie: Actors, director, sound guy. It was a complete waste of time. Also, the end sucks even more that the acting skills and whoever wrote the script/movie should do everyone a huge favor by never writing another word.
Whoever was the casting the director of this movie should absolutely never work in the film industry again. I think this is the only movie I have ever watched that EVERY single actor seems as if they have never acted before, Worst movie I have ever seen. The people that are giving this movie a 10 star probably have a room temp IQ.
I started watching this so called movie and discovered later that I wasted my precious time. Poor acting, poor script, poor ....everything. I should read reviews before I have wasted my time.
This is hands down the worst movie I've ever watched. The story and actors are terrible. I'm at a loss of words of how bad the whole thing was. I hung on watching hoping something would improve. The ending sucks even more than the beginning!!!
This movie was really bad. The female actress was the worst, next to the Clive character. Story had some potential but was written badly. Only positive note was the filming itself. Pretty good colors. That's what the second star is for.
