The Last House on the Street

The cover photo for this video don't do it justice! I was hoping for a good scary movie but this made absolutely zero sense! There is no back story or anything it's just werid and it gave me more anxiety just watching Chad freaking out... Definitely would not watch this again.... It should of been more detailed sorry people really don't waist your time watching it... Simple they kill men for being pigs the blond is from an institute and they take body parts that's basically what it's about Chad does die so not worth it I wasted an hour or so just watching it... Please don't watch it as it makes zero sense.

Beautiful college students were advertised. Where? The 2 female leads were maybe cute. We see too much of the chunky male lead without his shirt. I guess he was what the director considered horror. The movie is not scary. Nothing happens most of the movie.

This movie is so bad that the ONLY good thing I can say about it is thankfully it was only 1 hr and 15 min long. (That's because I paused it to take a bathroom break). Less than 15 minutes in there was a goof. You could see a camera set up for a different angle shot and the guys hand appeared above the actors (I'm sure soon to be waiter) head. The fake blood looked orange! There is no way this movie made any money. I'm sure everyone involved paid their friends and family members to NOT watch it.

Other than the cover of the movie, it's a disaster. If it isn't the poor video quality which seems to be the norm for many of this "direct to streaming" movies that look like they were shot on a low quality camera/phone it's the really bad acting. The blood/gore isn't enough to keep one interested. Do yourself a favor and avoid this film at all costs.

Two, very unlikable characters, portrayed by mediocre actors (I'm being kind here) and 95% of the film focuses on them. Seriously.. 95% of this film is these two unlikable characters trying oh so desperately to be "lovable clowns" but ultimately coming across as "creepy idiot frat guys". It's not funny, not thrilling, not horror... it's kind of painful to sit through. Seemed more like a film school project without any professionals involved in the making.

Chad (Dylan Garcia) is failing community college while his housemate Derek (Jeremy Behie) works for minimum wage at a fast food chicken place. Two hot girls move in across the street. Guys go in the house and coolers come out of the house. Not too hard to figure out. The film had potential, but it fizzles. Characters were not great and the humor didn't work. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

I think I've only ever turned off maybe 3-4 movies before finishing...no matter how horrible they have been. Add this one to the list (just under 1/2-way through). The actual cinematography/editing wasn't too bad, but that's about all. Writing, acting, delivery, storyline, humor, horror, suspense, intrigue, likeability, etc...just...no. I'd agree with another review in pointing out that it seemed like a school film project, but, not too positive it'd get a passing grade...
