This movie was good enough until it took a turn for the stupid... Christina fears for her safety from an escaped violent psychopath who is looking for HER...She's smart enough to send her teenaged foster child packing to protect her from danger, but then it gets stupid...Her friend brings over her 12 year old daughter for a pre-arranged babysitting commitment...lnstead of telling her friend that she wouldn't be able to babysit ( because it's super dangerous around her right now ) , she takes the kid in to babysit...I have no patience for stupid writing and I had to stop watching....
Waste of time. Legit waste of time. Do not waste your time.
This film start with a son talking with his father in the car, and they saw a woman with blood at the road scene! As turnout, this film is about a kidnapper "Elizabeth" need to kill the runaway girl "Katie"! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the searching scene, overuse of the running scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the interrogate scene, overuse of the drinking scene, overuse of the smoking scene, overuse of the staring scene, overuse of the flashbacks scene, overuse of the talking on the phone scene, overuse of the driving scene, and overuse of the watching video footage scene! Make the film unwatchable! At the end, Elizabeth killed by the police "Jamie"! That's it! Wasting time to watch!
So when a movie confuses itself with persistent chopping and changing, you'll not be expecting much and subsequently you don't get much. The cast try hard but it's 40 mins too long and well it's just sloppy and lacks craft. There are two redeeming qualities, we get a hilariously bad Wilhelm scream about 12 mins in, it's so lacklustre I should have foreseen it as an omen. The second comes an hour and 48 mins in where the hero sitting in an empty car gives a bizarre monologue to herself.
