A nice little indie this. The story of a fading rock star who is keen to get her band back together before the end. It nicely performed, well cast and the music is great. Props to the guy who wrote the tunes as films like this very much hang on the music being right. Highly recommended.
One review each. Guess which movie? So i gave it one star for equalization...at least the third reviewer had reviewed other movies....it really degrades the value of this site that people do this sort of thing, although i can't blame imdb...are they supposed to do background checks on reviewers...? No spoilers here...it usually happens with movies that aren't all that popular to drum up business. Noone wants to lose money they invested, right?
Wasn't too sure what to think when I started watching but soon understood where it was going! And it doesn't disappoint! Someone making life mistakes right! Watch and enjoy.
I'm a big rock 'n roll fan, and although the film lacks some finesse due to the budget, the story and music ring true. I'm pretty desensitized, but I was a blubbering mess by the end. The relationship between Penelope and Michael's characters was sweet and felt real. You can tell this movie came from a heartfelt place.
