Inam not giving this four stars because I don't like Mariah! She is one of the best sngers of my generation and her Xmas songs are awesome. What is upsetting is the 18 minutes long and onky two songs with an average at best interview between. Her previous special was way longrr and way better. She got a bad score because i wanted MORE Rewatch the old one and you'll have more Mariah Fun for the whole family. The somgs themselves are actually pretty good and festive. If you are a fan and go into this experience just expecting two music videos live about Christmas, then you'll like this! Otherwise, it's ten minutes of Xmas music and you get to meet Mariah's kids in between.
There are only 2 songs! And the interview is to patch out the 30 minutes featurette. Could have just dropped the two music videos in Vevo instead. Sorry there's no magic there. Ugh! 👎🙄
Nine stars, enough said....stunning voice, stunning looks and beyond festive! Mariah's Christmas moments are a welcome addition to the Christmas Season!
Subject says it all! You get a great opener with Khalid & Kirk Franklin, then about 10 minutes of interview about her special LAST year, then closes with "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)". Great production value and very pretty to look at, but too short and the interview killed the flow!
It didn't feel like Christmas at all and the best part was left out, maybe just as well that it wasn't longer than it was. Last years show was a dream and so full of joy and warmth and really got me in the spirit, this year it felt like a cheap knock off...
So NOT what the world needs now at Christmas. An over-produced, insincere message from Mariah Carey featuring pointless choreography with impeccably dressed band guys clowning at the camera. One star for her kids and Kirk Franklin who tried to keep it real but failed to enter the spirit of this joyless event.
Two songs separated by some boring interview with Mariah. The first Christmas special she did for Apple was wonderful , this was nothing by comparison. I'm amazed Apple put their name on it.
Distasteful narcissist kitsch. This program is supposed to be for kids and there is literally an inch away from showing her naked breasts fully. Hideous, tacky low-quality "performance" from all the movie participants. It's all about mariah's pathetic conceit. A self-praising "show" so pitiful that you start feeling sorry for where her career has ended up...
Though this program is little more than an advertisement for Mariah's new single, the production is slick and the songs are fun and well choreographed. The interview is basically filler, but if one's a Mariah fan, then the short program will be appreciated.
It's officially time to start getting ready for Christmas with this quick interview with Mariah on upcoming projects but very little is revealed and Mariah performances fall in love at Christmas time.
