If you thrive on moronic cliché horror moves, you'll love it. Otherwise, don't waste time that you will never recover. The final scene really says it all *MINI SPOILER* After being controlled to the point of shoving an electric drill in his shoulder, the character then screams at another character "what did you f'ing do" when watching aimlessly while a knife is plunged over and over into yet another character ... the plot is lame to the point of being ridiculous.
For most of the time I was watching this movie I was trying to figure out what I've seen the actress playing Wendy in before that she looked so familiar. And that about sums up how gripping this movie was for me. The premise of this movie held so much potential but unfortunately no-one involved managed to bring any of that potential to the screen. The most positive comment that I can make about this movie is that after spending 40+ years gathering dust in an archive somewhere, it should re-appear on the Public Domain and therefore be a perfect candidate for showing on 'The Schlocky Horror Picture Show', with Nigel updating viewers on the careers of everyone involved in the creation of this underwhelming production.
Ugh just some ramble, no background information and some random things. It does not make sense at all. Camera is overworked and actors reaction does not reflect on the scene and dialogs. Like some 80's horror movie ones. The props are almost made by children. Also the actions same low quality and the lighting. Sound quality sometimes does not is pure enough some. The only points are the quality of the screen.
4.26.21 just finished this movie...no action...no ghosts...bad acting...no excitement...will never watch twice or recommend anyone, not even my cat, to watch this boring so called horror. More of a drama..
The beginning was not too bad leading into the mythology of the evil entity in this haunted house. But what follows is a TV movie attempt at a haunted house & exorcist wannabe film or even Evil Dead. As you can imagine this fell flat and the cartoon-ish characters do little to elevate a plotline that had been done many times before but more importantly done better (The exorcist, The conjuring franchises, etc) this will be forgotten as it is so bland. Even the "entity" looks like it was "inspired" or perhaps copied off a computer game (Mortal Kombat's Scorpion in a robe)... If that is the best you can do then you deserve to be forgotten!
Acting is horrible story is not catchy.too short and not a good ending some scene are ok but overall it's boring.
When the movie was over, I realized a lot of things. Poor music; Weak actors; weak fear. The actors did not play their roles well and did not convey fear to the audience. The director just wanted the film to end soon. In three or four parts of the film, incomplete fear was shown. If someone gives a score higher than 4, it is clear that nothing He does not know horror movies.
Meh. This isn't the worst horror movie you'll see but is entirely forgettable and skippable. If you find yourself on a rainy day with nothing to do... there's still a better option. But if you do decide to watch it there are at least a few decent moments of suspense and a couple of jumps.
