I'm actually shocked this series was given the green light. In todays political and social climate, it's almost scary to think that writers thought it was okay to FULLY whitewash the story of these Latinx women. I mean ... a white Spaniard woman was behind the assassination of Trujillo!? Come on. The Trujillo era was so dark, inhumane and ghastly that we really didn't need the extra plots (The Gypsy show ... really???) to bring the story home. It's also SICKENING that the perejil massacre was a 5 min shot in one episode. Overall, awful series... the filler stories are cringe and offer nothing.
