In the 1990s, Chen Yi and Miao Jing met through their parents' acquaintance. Initially, Chen Yi was hostile toward Miao Jing, but after an injury, her kindness began to change their relationship. In the end, Zhang Bin and his accomplices are brought to justice. Chen Yi, gravely injured, confesses his love to Miao Jing, and the two finally become a couple.
