Get your tissues! A touching story filled with a lot of emotions but at the end she learnt to forgive to be able to forge ahead in life. I love the way the story was told. Not too many details about the past but you would definitely understand what went wrong. Very emotional. it's a 9/10 for me.

Tainted Canvas brought zest by adding an afro touch and the natural acting sublimed it all Delicious -The color yellow! It was overtly noticeable, especially in Morayo's outfits. Yellow was a good pick as it represents pain and hurt -The girl playing young Morayo (Jemima Aderemi) was feisty 😄 well done! What can you say when you have Tina Mba (playing Morayo's aunt), Kehinde Bankole (playing Morayo's mother), and Segilola Ogidan (playing Morayo)? You rock, ladies 🙌🏾 -Tainted Canvas's ambiance was very calm giving us time to absorb and understand each character. The production was executed in a simple way crowned with quality dialogues, images, and direction -The story invited us to comprehend Morayo's journey, where she came from and where she was now. We were there with her during the darkest moments. It became so emotional that we were about to tear up The way her dreams affected her upon waking up...hmmm, that was deep! -The name Morayooluwa means "I have seen/witnessed the joy of the Lord"; cleverly chosen to show the contrast with Morayo who was seeking that joy but couldn't attain it -Thank you for an innovative ending!!! Bland -Score editing and color grading suffered a little.
