I occasionally spend some time in Brooklyn. The modern gentrified Brooklyn and its rather shallow yet loudmouthed intelligentsia and self nominated creative class is without a doubt the most morose and sullen people on the planet. Narcissism is one thing, narcissism without merit is another. This is truly like finding a social media identity of a person desperate to desperate to achieve a "look" with nothing of meaningful underneath It is also tedious as heck to watch. There are "difficult" films that are subtle and complex yet reward the viewer for paying attention. The more you pay attention to this failure, the less you are rewarded.
