Certainly an entertaining watch but don't expect too much. The very disappointing part of the film for me was the atrocious New Zealand accent done by the American actor Patrick Brennan. There has to be a lot of Kiwis wherever they were filming this because I can tell you there are not that many here. Nowadays when I go for a walk through town every other face is Indian or some other flavour of Asian. Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against those groups but the good parts of our culture are being suffocated. In any case this film was a great distraction from the problems of the world but the poor accents really made me sad again.
Lamborghini, a name known but the story behind the name, the man, the family is known to few. The movie was an attempt in bringing out how one of the most exotic car ever made, ever designed came to life, the reason, the dream behind the same. Movie starts with the background, which was fair enough, as to how it all started but as the movie progress and as it comes to one each and every one was waiting for, the car, that beauty the company came up with, the movie just finishes. In a way the movie was half cooked, it did not gave what every one was expecting, even myself as i was waiting for the car and all but showed too less almost to nothing. Disappointed on my fronts, including the casting, which could have been better.
I love Lamborghini. The story of Lamborghini's history is truly epic. I first heard of a Lamborghini movie biopic and thought to myself, "why?" I was pretty uninterested in this probably because you could know most of the history of Lamborghini just from watching YouTube. Just watch an Up to Speed video on Lamborghini and you're good. But is the movie really that bad? Yes. The story kinda feels like a drag, the engine sounds are sometimes off, especially the Countach being a "V10" rather than a proper V12. Plus the movie doesn't really build much on character, just quick glimpses of dialogue exchange and the next scene plays.
