The storyline was good. The ending not so much. It appeared that not much thought went into the ending. The main characters were believable. I thought this was a decent watch.
Right off the bat, five minutes into the movie it becomes clear that the story is very similar to the 2008 TV movie Black Widow starring Elizabeth Berkley. The only difference being the protagonist in that one was a best friend of the almost groom-to-be and in this one the protagonist is the almost groom-to-b The acting was awful on the most part. Contrary to another contributor's opinion I thought Jasmine the sister (Erin Pineda) did some sort of a decent acting. Ashlee Fuss was pretty terrible at her role. The parents acting was also totally fake. And as usual the antagonist goes on killing people without wearing gloves. I guess wearing a black hoodie is enough to not leave any DNA or fingerprint traces on crime scenes when it comes to LMN movies huh?
It follows Carlos' sister as she finds out he is getting married in a week to Grace, a girl he just met at a strip club. Her sister investigates and is pulled into a whirlwind of events, putting her own life at risk... Very weak, all very convenient and easy, for the murderous protagonist, objectifying a couple as a happy ending, whatever it may be, and at any cost, but that's ok, revealing and watchable if you like a low-budget, chewed and predictable movie , but here comes the denouement, and the last 10 minutes go too far for the extremely futile and forced, everything in that end, spoiled everything..
Don't get me wrong I love a good cheesy lifetime movie with a little bad acting but this movie was just bad. First off the characters were overly polite to each other. Whoever wrote the script it was almost like they had no idea what to make these characters say and do. They were always saying thank you and being appreciative towards each other. Constantly bringing up things that were not relevant at all. Even the psycho bride was overly nice it was just odd I don't know how to explain it. The ending was VERY weird the whole movie was just bad don't recommend it.
She was so unlikable and couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Rooted for the bride to kill off the sister the whole time. Ending sucked. Don't waste your time.
