Chasing Comets

Australians seem to have a propensity to sometimes create films just for all the morons out there to watch. Jason Stevens is obviously nothing but an ego on legs.

This was a nice film with a great moral story that you hardly see these days. I love a good message film with some light moments and cheeky comedy and jokes - it does a good job there. I also really enjoyed the spiritual story and the journey of hope. This is based on ex-footballer's experience as growing up as Christian. The film is very well polished, amazed that Screen Australia helped on this, shot well, music id great, nice color grading and some of the actors are good. Dan Ewing and especially Isabell Lucas can't act, they barely pass. Overall, it's a fun watch, maybe a little boring in parts and just missing some real emotion - I didn't feel much for the main character - his journey was not compelling or emotional or powerful in any way. A good try and worth a watch, a great effort for first-time filmmakers but it lacked in the writing, story and dialogue. Easy to watch and good entertainment but you wont walk away remembering this.

A good hearted Aussie film with a mix of comedy, romance and drama. I'm not a footy lover but I found it entertaining because of the way that it was filmed. Loved the soundtrack and Stan Walkers performance

This flick was really well filmed, the cinematography is great as well as the acting, it kept my attention and had some heart felt moments plus some eye candy and a few laughs. Worth a look!

A bunch of solid Aussie actors. Classic small budget Aussie movie style with a few quirks and unpolished bits but a good story with some very funny bits to go with the gentle regular giggles.
