So, annoying people are heading to a cabin for the weekend with the parents (brother and sister plus her fiancee). When they arrive, a stranger claims that people are being possessed by demons. And that's about as far as the movie progresses. Annoying characters and an unresolved plot. Ho hum.

If this movie was written, shot, edited and directed by 15 year old's, then good job. I can't understand how any serious movie producers would make the choices they did, regarding story (yawn!) and editing (are we in the 80's?). I'm giving 3/10 stars but only for the acting. They won't win an Oscar for this performance, but the relatively good acting made the movie bearable, and we actually watched it until the end.

Tony (Lenny Thomas) and soon to be wife Brittney (DeShawn White) and her brother Kevin (Oghenero Gbaje) head up to a cabin rental by a lake during the off-season to meet her parents. They find everyone dead except for one man who shot them claiming they were demons. They don't know what to believe. It was an interesting tale with fair characters. Good ending. No real closure. No book of the dead. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity .

I know I'm missing some but the preface this I really enjoyed us and get out and black noir and I really root for the black horror genre but this family was ridiculously stupid just made the worst choices I've ever seen in any horror movies pretty much ever since Friday the 13th so it's kind of embarrassing but they made them also dumb so very very dumb.

I've read the reviews on here, and respect that everyone isn't going to have the same experience when viewing a movie. I think this was a pretty good effort, and quite suspenseful. The supporting cast was supposed to be over the top, a point I believe some may have missed. It keeps you guessing, wondering what each person's motive may be. I have to admit that the ending was frustrating, but you're left to come to your own conclusions. I've watched some pretty awful horror "movies," and I use that term loosely. This one kept me interested all the way through until the end. I still have many unanswered questions. As maddening as that is, I still enjoyed this one.

I'm not usually a thriller/horror fan, but I thought this simple indie flick was awesome. The quiet, classic setting, the small but excellent cast, some well-timed jump-scares and a great soundtrack combined to provide a synergistic delight - much better than the sum of its parts. Reflecting after watching, I found there had also been some deeper themes. How had race played out, and male/female roles? How had paranoia unfolded, as the players (and the viewers) sought to identify and label the "good" and "evil" characters? And why did I so yearn for a clear, clean ending in a movie where those values were so scarce? Hats off to these indie filmmakers - keep it coming.

Not much to see here... except cr*p acting, ridiculous lineup of pathetic people spewing out a laughable dialogue... and an absolute 'waste of time' plot. Really guys, don't bother, you'll thank me. Really astounded that it's currently a 5.8!
