I tend to not leave bad reviews but this movie is so grossly bad and has no semblance of reality in it that I had to voice my opinion. You can tell no real research was done and this was just a fantasy of a clueless writer. I couldn't even finish this.

This film looked interesting, so I looked up some reviews to see if I was gonna watch it. When I saw so many highly positive reviews which actually spoke of the quality and brilliance of the film, and so many extremely negative reviews which only complained of racial matters, politics, I was pretty sure that was what brought the total score to a lowly 5.2 stars. Of course, don't expect a shiny Hollywood blockbuster with a multi million dollar budget. But the best films aren't! It's an artsy film, which takes a much needed angle on the racism issues in the USA. I'm glad this film was made, it will surely provide some perspective to many people who aren't seeing the issues. Good film, it's a work of art, and shows a horrible issue from another perspective, through many different layers. People who think this film is dumb are totally missing the point (or maybe they're just racist).
Contrary to the other reviews, I saw this and was blown away. It was a poignant take on a very real issue in todays society. It actually was an incredibly in your face showing of what everyone who looks like me, and the lead character, are feeling every day. I suspect the other reviewers didn't care for it because they don't share this sentiment or are made uncomfortable by the realness of the subject matter; but it was GROUNDBREAKING!
Excellent film, just stunning. The best movie I have seen this year.
It's definitely a B movie in terms of quality. Loved seeing white people react to what we have to deal with on an hourly basis. A little over the top but maybe he wanted it to be so you can pay attention.
I could barely get through the movie because of the terrible, head banging music. Great storyline. Horrible music.
This movie is such a relevant topic of how cops treat people of color.
Thank you for bringing out my emotions that I have held in for years. I moved from a large metropolitan city to a bit county town at age 10 . No color here only one family. Talk about culture shock. I feel this is a movie all people should watch. All police deserved our respect also all people deserve respect from police.
