I lived this film when my mother passed away in 2015. It is an impeccable ode to loss, grief, hope & lastly, a motorcycle. My favorite film of 2020. -Tony. Goff / idiedtrying.

A great film made on a shoestring budget. Goes to show what you can do with a few thousand dollars and pure passion. Kudos to the whole team.

There could have been more side stories to his ride in California. Instead of all that camera time used to watch him sleep on the lawn... But overall the movie was okay. I had to watch the credits to find out if the main actor was Woody Harrelson or not :D And I had to read IMDB to see if it was shot in USA or Australia :D.

This film was made on a very small budget, yet delivers more heart than most movies I have seen in the past decade. The acting is second to none and I enjoyed watching this story unfold. It's rare to experience a solid movie these days that doesn't rely on gratuitous violence, bad jokes, or big name celebrities. Cheers to all involved in this production; I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Never have I been so blown away by the absence of talking in a movie. I was so impressed with how actions alone built unprecedented tension conveying the raw emotions carried all throughout this piece. And then the music kicks in and literally blows you out of your seat. Have watched this 2x and will continue to revisit this gem.

This movie takes us on a memorable "ride" through one man's tragic grief story. I found myself drawn into his pain; no easy task for most men to admit, or to deal with. No easy answers or clichés-just a subtle, honest picture of Preston's real-life emotion, and unexpected compassion from a stranger. The 1,000 miles will take you through scenery that is both stark and beautiful. This movie is not just for bikers.
