Quarante Ans et des Surprises

"Cuarentones" is a film promoted as a romantic-comedy, however it is more focused on a dramatic comedy, with funny scenes but not really comical, as far as the drama is well managed and works perfectly with the message of the film: "You can't always win but you can learn from it." The performances are good, highlighting Erick Elías and surprisingly Adal Ramones shows that he has good acting qualities and is not just a comedian. The performances of outstanding actresses such as Martha Ofelia Galindo, Anabel Ferreira and Silvia Mariscal are also appreciated. A good film that without being excellent leaves a good taste in the mouth and a pleasant message.
