The headline says it all. this film looked really good! High quality/well shot. It's a feel good romcom that features some lovely leading ladies. It's fun, give it a watch!
fun and watchable the characters were charming the story kept me going I love that it came form a female POV could watch it again! Laughed a lot watching it. I am not sure what the other negative comments are about it really amused me and was nice to watch with a glass of wine in my hand!
I so appreciate a good movie that can be silly and fun and entertaining with characters that I can relate to. The romantic comedy is back. It moves quickly and had me laughing throughout with fresh jokes that were hysterical. Camille Guaty always nails it, but this might be her best performance yet. I would highly recommend this film despite a few blue moments.
This is the worst film I have seen in a very long time. And I have seen some very very bad films. Some of the actors are not bad - I wonder how they got involved in this turd - but some of it is very cringy, but the writing is appalling too. The photography is not great, but hey this is an indie film, and I can forgive that. But the story, oh dear... It has so many plot holes, it's pretty much impossible to follow half of the time. References to characters that never make it into the film, references building up to situations that are not eventually on screen, it makes no sense whatsoever. It tries really hard to be Bridesmaids or Sex and the city, but it really doesn't manage. I mean, if you want to watch an awful film with your friends and laugh at it, this is the one, give it a go, otherwise, don't waste your time, you've been warned.
I was able to see this film during its festival run and it was definitely one of the highlights of my year. Incredibly funny and witty, it's a huge standout against its genre counterparts. Its female characters are fully fleshed out and I found myself relating to all three characters. The 1980s nostalgia adds a bit of whimsical magic to this already enchanting film. If you want to have fun and laugh with your pals, this is definitely the comedy film for you.
Great writing, authentic performances, and very funny! It's unusual to see a funny movie with so many fully developed female characters. The plot nicely balances both the characters' friendships and romantic relationships, and the story line is not predictable. For fans of the 1980s and 1980s cinema, this is a must-see! Highly recommend!
