I agree the acting is pretty bad. I did like the "Fall in the country scenery" because it isn't that common in Hallmark type movies. I found it pleasant enough to actually finish it it. It has the usual predictable storyline and pretty lame dialog. No regrets but I definitely wouldn't go for a rewatch.
At least the scenery is pretty. I found it very difficult to watch - the acting truly is distracting.

Ok let's be honest we aren't here for the story , script or acting skills. But the fall scenery and decor are perfect for the harvest mood and watching season appropriate movies is why we love hallmark. Sure I've seen better , but did they have 15 scenes with pumpkins in them ? No they did not.
The acting in this movie is so bad. I stopped watching after 15 minutes. What is going on with lifetime and hallmark movies. Can they not afford to hire better actors. The premise seemed cute, but it was awful. These actors should go take some of those acting classes they have available.
I have read a lot really bad reviews on this one but I have to say I enjoyed it enough to watch it all. James Welch Henderson, Arkansas 01/02/2021
I wish I had not spent 9.99 on this movie, but the move is ok, poorly executed. Katie gets an assignment to return home and face her demons, however, she meets a good man worth staying for and her ex boyfriend intervenes and writes an article which the citizens believe prompting her to leave town but after some advice she decides to stay and apologize, she finally realized her sister was right. The ex boyfriend should of been ashamed himself from the spying, lying to the restauranter, to the article which blew things out of portion, no one wanted to listen to her.
The acting is really bad - painful to watch. A good story... too bad it was overshadowed by the pathetic acting...
