I enjoyed Never Too Late to Celebrate very much. While many TV romcom movies are formulaic and have a "been there, done that" quality to them, this one was different. The main storyline was well conceived, kept my interest and the secondary storylines added genuine interest, so that was another plus. What I enjoyed most was the interaction and performances of the two leads, married couple Alexa and Carlos PenaVega, who were tasked with keeping their obvious chemistry more understated and both did a terrific job of naturally portraying their characters' sincerity in relation to each other. Carlos has a wonderful singing voice and Alexa emotes so beautifully that you really feel it. Together they are gold. Props also go out to the supporting cast members, from Camila's mom and best friend to Javi's family. Not all supporting casts gel as well as this one does, so credit has to be given to them because their chemistry together helped drive the storylines. Well done and I will watch it again.

What makes or breaks a Hallmark movie is whether the main actors can actually act, and Carlos & Alexa do that very well. And, of course, Carlos sure can sing - that song at the end (I believe it's called "Eres Mia") is so beautiful, and I hope so much that it is released. On top of all that, they have natural chemistry, which translates nicely onto the screen. Sure...each character could have been a bit more developed, but this movie is fun, has a more unique plot than Hallmark's usual, and it has a lot of heart. I look forward to the next Carlos & Alexa movie, and I really look forward to that ending song being released on Spotify & iTunes (please?).

7.6 stars. A good time getting to know the PenaVegas again together, same actors, different movie. Both of them can act, she has a lot of practice being an actress since she was like 4? He is not a bad actor, although some say he's not so good, but I disagree. He is not awesome, he's not bad, he's average and can hold his own. The romance is palpable in this film, but the story is cookie-cutter. Just add a bit of Mexican tradition in a predominantly white America setting. The story is nice, the characters are endearing. Her mother is a good addition, it was nice for her to have more than a two-bit part. Her best friend was also charismatic and funny. Mr. PenaVega's role was underdeveloped, which I found to be a bit strange, yet it was just barely enough to pull it off. I'll watch this every other year probably.

I loved this movie! This was a very special hallmark movie! One of my favorites, the main characters were relatable and geniunely cared for each other. Javi and Camilla had great chemistry! No wonder they are married in real life! It was touching especially in how she honored her heritage and her father. Javi was so real in how he dealt with past pain and his fear of trying again. I really appreciated how they incorporated family in every scene. The attention to detail in depicting the quincerra was informational and gave depth to her journey to learn about her culture. See this movie it will bring you such joy!

When Hallmark advertises something with Alexa, you can guarantee hubby Carlos will be part of it.. Is this only how she gets work? If her hubby gets a major part also, most couples have great screen chemistry but he doesn't carry acting parts well. She carries movies great & has chemistry with other actors on screen, but it's lackluster with Carlos.. Perhaps due to them acting how they do in their marriage life, regardless feels off & non-enjoyable. This overall movie topic & so forth could of worked so much better, with better leads & other improvements. At least it wasn't about a topic that gets redone, such as saving a fest.. But like those if you only cast certain people always,it get boring & predictable! So please Hallmark, stop with these two being cast in things together. Wish could of talked more positives of the movie, but it's gets overshadowed with reasons mentioned above.
