I just saw this movie last night and was pleasantly surprised at how GOOD it really was. I am a big fan of Melissa McCarthy and wanted to see if she could pull-off a serious role. All (3) women did an excellent job as mob-boss leaders. Even though some people claim the movie moves too slowly, I felt that the pace was instrumental in telling the story. There was alot of violence and profanity. The violence was handled by only showing what was necessary, without pouring loads of gore all over the screen. It was playing, so that the audience, could simply use their imagination. There were a couple of jump-scares which lifted me off my seat, and a sprinkling of comedy, but not so much that it ruined the scene. I thought all (3) women handled themselves very well, learning to live and work in a "mans world" while providing for their families and showing compassion for their community. Go see it and judge for yourselves. I will be buying the DVD when it comes out.
