Chasing Grace

This film is about the Matheson family and the trials they g through after the death of a daughter. Little Abigail Rose Cornell finds a loaded gun belonging to her uncle and kills herself. This is a minister's family father is Michael Joiner, mother Ashley Payne, and the two surviving sons Rusty Martin and Patrick Fagan. All try to cope in different and not good ways. The uncle David Temple keeps the weapon as some kind of security from demons in the Mid-East wars. He's been the prodigal brother for years and now they ant t just read him out of the family. This modern retelling of the Prodigal Son parable is a good religious drama showing that even preachers and their families fall to earthly temptations.

This story is about a little girl who finds a loaded gun at a family party and blows her head off, and all the drama surrounding it both before and after. Obviously tragic life events scar people and those scars never go away. This little story addresses some of the issues that people do have to deal with subsequently, and how hard it can be on everyone. It's really not a bad telling of the story. People will be able to relate to the positions of the characters, most of them anyway. Of course it's also a tale of just how alchohol, very bad. That booze is the Devil's handiwork!!! -1 Star for trying to attempt to convince me that booze is bad. -1 More Star for really trying to blame the majority of life's problems on booze and lack of God in people's lives.
