I found the production very weak, it's okay that the dubbing doesn't help much, but it fell far short of the plot, in fact, its execution caught on, it looked like a Mexican soap opera, and the dubbing brought even more this nostalgic idea, but in a not very positive way...

In a mountainous Colombian resort town, attractive and recently remarried Kathleen Rose Perkins (as Caitlin Shaker) goes out to dinner with her local-born and ultra-wealthy husband Kamar de los Reyes (as Javier Moreno). Their palace-like abode is strangely absent from servants for most of the evening, leaving Ms. Perkins' six-year-old daughter Jocelyn largely unattended. The little girl has a nose-bleed after going to bed. Like the title "Abducted: The Jocylen Shaker Story" promises, Jocelyn is abducted. The police make an arrest, but we're thinking someone else may have committed the crime... Unhappy with the pace of justice, Perkins embarks on a "Lifetime" TV movie investigation. This story breaks no new ground. A pretty American blonde being victimized in a foreign land is the popular theme. The kidnapping plot gets stale fast. To make things more interesting, our heroine questions her decision to relocate to Colombia, as she was feeling older and enamored with great wealth. Perkins also befriends local policewoman Eileen Roca Torralvo (as Susana Espinoza), an uncommonly beautiful woman who is being treated like an uncommonly beautiful woman by some of her male co-workers. *** Abducted: The Jocylen Shaker Story (12/25/2015) Conor Allyn ~ Kathleen Rose Perkins, Kamar de los Reyes, Eileen Roca Torralvo, Luis Fernando Hoyos

This is an excellent, well written and well acted who dun-nit mystery that is definitely worth watching. The clues are all there for you to solve the mystery, there are no hidden clues that are often introduced that make them unfair. Everything that occurred in the story is logically introduced and explained.....in other words, it makes perfect sense of the who and why. You do need to pay very close attention to the characters and their possible motives so you can piece the clues together and solve the mystery. The actors all did a fine job in their roles. No over-acting and no weird moments nor looks from the actors that often ruin these types of movies. No big stars, but, who cares. If you are a mystery buff and enjoy solving logic puzzles this is a movie for you. It is written in the genre of Agatha Christie type mysteries where the reader/viewer follows along as the detective gathering clues to ultimately SOLVE THE CASE.

Story line of some interest, but not well acted made it difficult to watch.
