To Catch a Spy

I just watched this movie for the second time. It was as good as the first time. I hope the make subsequent movies with these characters. I love Hallmark mysteries. I do wish, however, they wouldn't end when the main characters finally get together.

Although I like Colin, I disliked the actress. She's not Aurora Teagarden or any of the other women amateur sleuths. I wouldn't think about making more Movies with her.

The titled sounded good-I didn't know the actors, so thought: why not watch. I usually enjoy the mystery hallmarks. Wow-this was an incredibly bad show-from the actors to the writing to the plot. Nothing was realistic. Half the time I was wondering if the actors were trying to be dumb or not. There was no chemistry between any two actors. There was a lot of exaggerated facial expressions-as though they were trying for slapstick. Everything seemed overacted to the point of silly. The bad guy-combo of silly and stupid. Ditto for the ending. Total waste of time-the setting of Malta couldn't even make up for all the negatives. Written for the cartoon crowd.

Just got finished watching this movie. Horrible acting especially the lead actress, horrible script but beautiful scenery. What a waste of the talented Colin Donnell - was great on Chicago Med and saw him on Broadway in Anything Goes. Seems he and his wife Patty Murin - great as Anna in Broadway's Frozen - are working as a duo in Hallmark movies. Both talented actors need better parts and stories.

Just finished watching this movie to the bitter end. Only reason that I was able to accomplish this was the fact of the film being shot on location in Malta. What a gorgeous city. Other than that, this was a disaster.

Ugh. Terrible acting, script and accents. This was so low budget. As others have said, this was painful to watch. If this is a new series, I will not be watching any others. I like Mystery 101 and Chronicle Mysteries!

A really bad film, bad acting, bad directing, a story so simple and primitive that it was written for children up to 5 years of age. The only interesting thing about the film is Malta.
