Brilliant true story, amazingly talented cast. A compelling look into what it means to be an actor, especially a Black actor. 10/10.
Growing up around Broadway and Black community, I can't believe I have never heard of Gilpin. Not only is this a historic insight into Broadway - but also a reminder that there are so many forgotten Black stories that need to be told! thank you for sharing this story with us
