great 👍🏼
Outstanding performance by Samuel L. Jackson and well written insight into the banking regulators EVEN today. Valuations (READ: classification of loans based on "probability of collection") exists as late as 2013 when I was a banker. An examiner with a vendetta can devalue a portfolio to arrive at any solvency computation they want. The movie did an excellent job exposing this strategy
This is a simplified racial story told time and time again isn't it 2020? Samuel L plays his normal great portrayal of a role and the rest of the cast do adequately, but there really is no pizazz to this film. It drags along with no surprises. I definitely wouldn't watch this again and if we weren't in a pandemic probably wouldn't have made it through once.

The Banker is a great movie with a wonderful cast giving great performances. This is a must see, based on a true story about working around unjust policies that is relevant for today. It's about damn time Apple released this. It really deserved more attention and they should have stood by it from the start.
Engaging tale of two men trying to make money despite the unequal laws back then. It really draws me into the story, and I feel for the characters who faced so much injustice.
Outstanding performance by Nick fury, Beast and ofcourse Falcon. lol but really the movie did portray a side of the american history specially in the banking and real state sector in a very insightful way. And the struggle of one race against another almost makes you feel the pressure, specially how the banking system affected the black folks in those days. Lastly i was looking into the reviews and i couldn't find anyone who rated this movie less than 5 stars and the majority were 10,9 and 8 with one rating at 5. I mean the movie is not a big hit but the rating seems off to me.
