It's the end of the school year. The kids have their fun but it's ending too soon. The Peanuts gang is going to a new school. It's bigger. The kids are bigger. Most are excited but Lucy starts to have concerns. She decides to open her own school. It's solid Peanuts. The kids are the kids. It's fine as a half hour special. I do have a big issue. To me, Peanuts exists in a time bubble. They will always be in whatever grade they're in and they will always have the same teacher. They do not move on to another school. They never go to high school. They are frozen at a certain age. I don't like when the franchise ever suggests them growing up. They are like Peter Pan. They don't ever grow up.
