Morality movie with a proper heart. We all have moments in life where, maybe years later, we look back and think "what if...". ...and what if you could skip back and forth in time to make some "tweaks"... ...and what if you had a "real time" limit on how many "tweaks" you could make... ...like, say, the time of a UK train journey! Michael Sheen's credentials as an actor are already well established but he leads this movie well. Lovely little cameos all over the place. The story has been criticised, and I guess it's not really everyone's cup of tea. But I really liked this movie. A lot.
During the first five minutes I thought it was going to be a bad Alan Partridge/Shameless-type comedy. I was completely wrong, and it's not even a comedy at all. As time progresses the film gets better and better, and by the end I knew I'd watched something a bit special. The two leads are excellent, and there are some really good cameos. I would thoroughly recommend it.
