تدور الأحداث استنادًا لقصة حقيقية لشاب يُدعى أوسكار (مايكل بي جوردون) يبلغ 22 عامًا، والذي تسكن جسده رصاصة غادرة من قبل ضابط شرطة بمحطة فروتفيل - منطقة (باي) في آخر ليلة من عام 2008 لتودي بحياته وتقتله بدم بارد، بعد أن عقد على تغيير مسار حياته إلى الأفضل في بداية العام الجديد.

This movie is a masterpiece; I won't say much more than that. But they can’t erase God’s people. To the racist officers: everything we do in life echoes in eternity. There is a lot of bad karma coming your way. Even though you were released after only 11 months, you deserve much worse. These ytes were truly evil.
