A great movie, great acting..very realistic..the main lead was totally real and attractive
Eeb Allay Ooo is a story of a young migrant worker who comes to New Delhi to look for work, and lands a job as a Monkey Repeller. (Yes, it is an actual job that I had no idea existed. ) Eeb Allay Ooo is a satire on the state of India right now where humans are being treated like animals, but animals are elevated to the status of gods. Eeb = Baboon Allay = Human Ooo = Monkey It is a full circle of Human evolution with our protagonist and his colleagues imitating the monkeys. It was reared as one of the Best Film of 2020 and has been a festival favorite worldwide. After watching it I understand why. It is a Must Watch!
Do watch, I wasted my sleep hours on it. This movie only have 10% comedy and all garbage drama. ...................!!!!!!M. Waste of time Do watch, I wasted my sleep hours on it. Prateek vats directorial debut Eeb Allay Ooo! has a very interesting and unusual premise which seems very fresh, Unique and is really grounded throughout so much that it doesn't seem actors are acting in it. The main lead and the guy who plays Mahender are just brilliant. Honestly the guy who plays Mahender has given an absolutely terrific performance. Movie is a satire on the current state of India where marginalised class are treated as animals and animals as gods. It's really very thought Provoking and Realistic. If you have spare 90 minutes then do watch it on Netflix.
Not sure what to make of this socio political movie as it fails to provide any meaningful solution...if a problem is rendered a problem than it no longer remains a problem.
Eeb Allay Ooo! The film that shows how we dehumanise people in our society. So so relevant in today's times. What a powerful debut by the director Prateek Vats. More power to him for making such a difficult and heartbreakingly beautiful film The background score is so so haunting and real, that it doesnt get out of your head. The places that it has been shot, anuragkashyapeshque to the core.. The climax is deep.. Brave effort
Great movie. Must watch. A mirror view of the current indian scenario.
Really enjoyed this wonderful, absorbing, thought-provoking film! Amazing imagery and genuine, compelling performances.
This movie has sub-text/satire/layered narration that is not understandable to me. But, the cinematography and sound is brilliant, and there were some shots which made me wonder - "How did the guy capture this?!!". As it is a stereotypical artistic cinema with a "static camera, long shots, no background music, real background noise, less dialogues, visual metaphors", you need to have patience. Watch only if you like artistic cinema!!
It's a perfect festival movie It has shown ground level reality and people fighting for their needs This movie is for the genders who like and understand festival movies and their concepts If you are a masala movie viewer then this is not for you
