I want to like this movie but its hard to do so. The opening sequence is quite weird and very disturbing so I had some hopes for this movie. But after that the start is quite slow and once things got going I had a hard time accepting the main characters portrayal. The protagonist (an ex-soldier) has terrible hunting technique. He crashes through bushes loudly with no attempt at stealth and he smokes while hunting. No wonder he doesn't catch anything. His tactical abilities aren't great either, he finds a creepy building, seemingly abandoned, but inside is a pentagram with candle that are still burning, and graves outside, and never once does he even ready his rifle. Then as he leaves he litters an empty pack of cigarettes which seems like a bad idea considering whoever is worshiping satan might notice the litter and know someone was there. Then the movie eventually becomes like a weird fever dream. Kind of like the Nic Cage movie "Mandy", except without all the entertaining violence. For how dark and messed up it gets I strangely found it to be a bit boring. And the sound is obnoxious, its get quiet then suddenly will have a super loud screeching sound, kind of like a cheap audio equivalent of a jump scare. The audio levels are all over the place with this move. Not recommended.

He kidnaps and then handjobs the victims to ejaculate for his mandrake garden? And then there are a bunch of flashbacks about a guys wife that went crazy.

A man hide in the woods, for whatever reason, at the same time kind of monster is murdering young girls. Very b or c kind of filmmaking, very boring and useless.

Don't bother wasting an hour to watch this iteration rubbish I have honestly never watched a film with no meaning whatsoever ever in my life hopefully the director will take note and retire

Do not watch this. It's utter trash. 85% of this piece of trash film is one man walking around a forest saying and doing nothing. 5% is extremely graphic torture and this fits in 0% with anything else. It's complete nonsense nothing fits together absolutely nothing redeeming. I truly don't think I've seen anything even close to this bad. 0% scary 0% fun 100% abysmal. Avoid like the plague!!!
