If this was a real case, why wasn't there recordings of these possessed demonic children etc. This Is a typical self edulgent bullcrap. Some pooramerican family want's some bublicity that's what It Is. Like watching those scary ass judge judy crap. This is pure fiction and the present of any maleviolent spirits are not even showed throughout the whole documentary. If There really where demonic entitys in that house why didn't they manage to film anything supernatural at the residence??
I'm from Northwest Indiana, where this supposed demon possession took place, though I've never heard of the house. I have issues with the people and places in the film. One, Mr. Bagans, it's the Lake County Sheriff's Department, not the Lake County Police Department. Two, people from Gary, Indiana are not believable. As Zak pointed out, it's a very poor, crime ridden city. People from here would do anything to make it into a movie, rather than go on with their normal existence. I find it hard to believe that the Hammond police and the Lake County Sherrif's Department were ever involved in such a sensationalized case. Northwest Indiana is full of crime, and I can't see these departments helping out the Gary Police. No one wants to go into Gary, Indiana. The unearthing under the stairs of typical everyday objects makes no sense. You would expect to see an alter or satanic remnants present, not women's underwear. The priest is suspect. Something that he said didn't correlate what a person of the cloth would and should know. I also find it hard to believe he was given permission to perform an exorcism. The higher ups in the Catholic Church don't take exorcisms lightly, and it is very hard to obtain permission. I've watched Ghost Hunters off and on, but it's becoming harder to buy anything Bagans does. It's a hoax. All of it.
I'm not sure of the purpose of fake reviews. The movie is still going to suck regardless. Nothing good is caught on camera, so any "proof" is only heresy. You are better off watching GhostHunters.
A lame and ridiculous piece of garbage. It's neither a documentary nor a horror movie, just a cheap try to make as much money from an allegedly true story as possible without spending any more money on the production than necessary. Those 10/10 reviews must be all fake and should be checked by imdb.
