Moved to tears in sentimental scenes, was raging with fire in action scenes, filled with joy in comedy scenes, brimming with happiness in family scenes, mothathula Thalaivar 'Kola mass'!! Story, screen play could have been more innovative! Kudos to Imman sirs music!

Too much of sentiments, for sure this movie is not for this generation. Very poor screenplay and direction. Music is also very boring and irritating at times. Family audience might like but to me thalaivar should concentrate more on scprits. As a fan very disappointed.

I didn't except this movie from Rajnikanth. Meh, one time watchable. How I spended entire watching movie. Excepted a pattas level. Nah. Felt like watching a seriel.

Rajini's legacy is soo great.. He should stop romancing actress who are younger than his daughters.. Its disgusting and embarrassing to watch on screen.. Last time I enjoyed a Rajini movie was in 2005 for Chandramukhi.. Even enthiran, 2.0 were too much for his age.. There is no story anymore.. Its just a pathetic excuse to be on screen.. Directors and producers wants to ride on his Superstar image.. This Annathe is a final nail in the coffin.. Instead of this movie, I can even sit and watch 4 back-to-back episodes of the serial "Roja" and listen to the cringy "arjun sir.. arjun sir"... .. Pothumdaaa saami..

Honestly I seriously don't understand why most of the people are giving this movie 1 star or 2 star. It delivers what a Rajnikanth starrer movie is expected to. Yes, I get that its not that good but its not that bad either. You very well know how the action scenes are going to be in Masala movie. And honestly speaking the story in this movie is kind of good too. Though there are some loopholes in how the system works but that's why it is 10/10 for me.
