This was terrible. The storyline was actually ok, but the acting from pretty much everyone was terrible. There was zero chemistry or believability in the relationships. Things people were saying were just ridiculous. I had to keep watching to see what happened, but man alive, avoid
This microbudget feature has your standard unwitting-campers-meet-something-evil-in-the-woods plot, but it's got some nice creepy moments and, unlike most horror movies, it features gay characters and even gay romance and doesn't treat them like they're weird.
The characters are incredibly boring and what makes it worse is that the dialog is very drawn out. The special effect are not special at all just cheap and cheesy. The only thing frightening about this "film" is that it was made and released. Just a poorly made "film" not worth watching so don't make the same mistake I did.
This is a great British Horror/Slasher film. It has a very realistic atmosphere throughout. Plus lots of violence and gore. Wonderful use of special effects for the more gruesome scenes. The film has a great story and is very character driven. Along with an excellent and well timed balance of the humorous and romantic scenes. A really excellent film.
I found this film hard to watch or get into the storyline as many of the actors were terrible. The story itself lacked any real depth. Effects weren't great either but you can sometimes see past that if the actors shine. Unfortunately I feel like I wasted my time with this one.
THE SMALL WOMAN IN GREY is a hilariously cheap British indie horror flick once again heavily indebted to THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT as well as the found footage genre in general. The film follows a bunch of teenagers as they decide to head off camping in some haunted woods, only to encounter the malevolent spirit of a young girl which seems to have murder in mind. Most of the running time is made up of the usual boring exchanges between bickering characters, but there is better character building than you see usually. The whole enterprise is let down by absolutely pitiful CGI gore effects which have to be seen to be believed.
