Wrestling Lists Presents - The Life and Career of Dynamite Kid Tom Billington, The Dynamite Kid, was one of pro wrestling's first phenomenal athletic performers. Dynamite could, at one point, literally do it all. An extreme amount of intensity mixed with techincal grace and high flying ability made Tom Billington an exciting hybrid wrestler, something that wasn't seen often in North America. His mix of styles from different countris made Dynamite Kid an incredibly exciting wrestler to watch, especially in an era where nobody else on TV were doing things what Tom Billington was doing. Years of wrestling this hybrid style, along with his personal issues, would put a screeching halt to the Dynamite Kid's career. This, along with stories of how he treated his peers, makes Dynamite Kid's story the stuff of legend. Perhaps never has someone been so talented within the ring but had it all stripped away because of who he was and what he done outside of it. Stories about Dynamite Kid would pop up occasionally that made you wonder "how could this be true?", but then Tom Billington wrote his autobiography and not many of these stories were denied. Fans and wrestlers want to remember a performer that’s widely considered one of the innovators of wrestling, but it’s not that simple. This video looks at Dynamite Kid's debut into wrestling, his time in Stampede Wrestling, the Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask series, his WWF debut along with Davey Boy Smith to form The British Bulldogs tag team, his work against Bret Hart and The Hart Foundation, the injury that led to Dynamite's downfall and his exit from WWE. We also look at the last days of Dynamite Kid's life. #wrestling #documentary #wwe
