Please practice this technique with caution! and please ensure you are aware of your organisations competition ruleset before applying it, as you may get disqualified! A clip from a recent exchange myself and my organisation had with Kayolan Kolev and his Bulgarian team. Kayolan is a 2nd dan in judo and recently won a bronze medal at the Sambo World Championships. This technique makes use of an awkward grip to trap uke's shoulder, causing them to feel pain and become distracted, allowing you to execute the technique.
