“2 Rotiyan” is a soul stirring song that conveys a deep and profound understanding of life and success. This thought-provoking rendition leaves you with a message that wealth lies not in having great possessions but in being content with few wants. Taking you through an emotional narrative, the song challenges the real worth of material success and pursuits, and emphasizes that the riches built through deception and trickery are meaningless since the real needs of a human are minimal and you only carry your deeds with you in the final journey. The profound lyrics of the song have been penned by Sanjeev Anand and the song is rendered in the melodious voice of Baba Gulab Singh Ji with soulful music composed by Amdad Ali. As you immerse yourself in this emotional journey, you reconsider your definition of fulfillment and realize that having two square meals and a roof over your head is to be wealthier than the richest man without contentment. So, through this song, evoke your sense of humility with the realization that with the same final destination of life for rich and poor alike, true achievement lies in contentment with little.
