Who's Taking the Aki Basho? | September 2026 Grand Sumo Final Stretch Preview

The Aki basho is down to its final days, and one wrestler has taken control of the September Grand Sumo championship race. I'll break down Onosato's dominant run, what's gone wrong for Kirishima and his yokozuna bid, and whether Aonishiki, Fujinokawa or Asanoyama can still catch the leader. Plus, we'll look at Kotoshoho's injury, the wrestlers in danger of falling to juryo, and which juryo wrestlers could make the jump to makuuchi in November. 🎵 Music: "Overdrive" by Corbyn Kites 🎵 Music: "Stars and Constellations" by Sarah, The Illstrumentalist How Kirishima's Yokozuna Dreams Slipped Away https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV2QBjoj58U #sumo #相撲 #Onosato #AkiBasho
