Toy Soldiers

I grew up still watch this movie Toy soldiers since I was childhood now I have my owner dvd!! So still made me goosebumper which very good movie (old time is best)... Did I gave this Rating 10/10.

This is just a fabulously guilty pleasure that my friends and I never hesitate to indulge in. If you're not looking for anything too deep or earth-shattering, you'll enjoy the cheap suspenseful thrills and plenty of buff & bare arms, chests, and butts. Plus many of you will remember the actors from some 80s/early 90s classics--Sean Astin of The Goonies, Wil Wheaton of Stand By Me, and Keith Coogan of Adventures in Babysitting and Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead. I'm telling you, this is a great movie to watch with some of your easily amused friends.

I think that for the most part this was a great movie. This movie had a whole lot of really well portrayed drama and quite a bit of comedy here and there. This showed how It really did portray what terrorism was like and it was showing how the students and people outside of the school had remained strong especially out of the hostage situation. It was funny in some ways when the students were on the way of fighting back with the terrorists. It was like the terrorists thought they had everything under control until the Billy Tepper and the gang fought back and laid out their plans very well. The background Music was a good match and very well fit for the movie as well as sounding perfect. It was all well played and well acted by people. This movie definitely should deserve better ratings than this.

This is one worth watching, although it is sometimes cheesy, it is great to see a young Sean Astin, and this ends up being quite an entertaining and humorous action movie. I watched it many times when I was young, and now still enjoy it when I pop the old vhs into the machine (I happen to own a copy). So sit back with this movie, let reality go for a little while, and you will be able to have a few good laughs and an enjoyable hour and a half.

This movie is my all time favorite movie! It has great acting, cute guys, and a great plot. Sean Astin is great in this movie! It has funny moments, sad moments, and happy moments. Who could ask for anything more? This movie is GREAT!

I have loved this movie since I saw it in the theater in 1991. I was 12 then and Wil Wheaton was my favorite actor and adolescent crush. I am now 23 and I still love this movie. The best part about it is whoever I am dating loves it too because it is a total macho-guy movie! It is wrought with enough action and mayhem to keep men with the shortest attention spans glued to the screen. I only wish that it was available on DVD!

THIS MOVIE IS Excellent. The first time I saw it, I was 8 or 9 y.o. and I think it was another movie. But a few weeks later, I felt I need to see it again,and again. And every time it was repeated I stood with the mouth open watching it. I 'd never seen Sean Astin before this movie, and after seeing it I thought he'd be one of the majors movie stars, because ha had much more than Di Caprio, cruise and others. Beyonce his ass, could be seen in a scene!!! I don't know if the difference is in the translation, I'm from Argentina, and this movie was dubbed in South América. I think it's unfair that Sean Astin hadn't became in a real protagonist of today's Hollywood. But, I've to recognize that this is one of the best movies I saw by him. And that it's a good film that I really enjoy. If you have the possibility to watch this movie, don't miss it!!!!

Picture this. Someone makes a film about the Columbine or Virginia tech massacre only the film is directed by the guy who did home alone (i know this isn't but bare with me) and stars Sean Astin off of Goonies!! picture the terrorists being overpowered by buckets of water on top of ajar doors and marbles and this is why you need to see the film. unfortunately it doesn't go all the way by actually having the skateboard lying on the floor for the evil Mexicans to trip on but its halfway there you have to give it above 7 for that but not a 9 because it didn't go crazy enough. Pity, its seemed like it would be comical cheesiness, well worth a cult status

This is not a bad movie at all. If you want fun, non-thought-inducing entertainment, this is a good choice. There are some minor plot holes, such as the US Army making an assault on the word of the teenagers, which I don't think would happen in real life. However, The Delta Force/FBI HRT assault at the climax is worth the (highly discounted by now) price of admission.
