Asti and Umar, the employees of a Statistics Office, are assigned to update data in a remote village in a district in Sulawesi. Umar and Asti do not realize that the place where they are taking shelter is the house of the man who made a deal with the devil to become rich instantly. Difficult road access and long distances between houses become obstacles, so they are forced to live in the village for quite a long time. One day, Umar meets Rajeng, and they fall in love.
