On the contrary, Author is not consumed so much with jealously, as he is with the fact that Lena used him to finance her education. Even after she decided that she no longer had the desire to come home or continue her relationship with Author. This isn't so much of a love story and more on the deception and mental manipulation of her childhood sweetheart. Lena could have cut it off with Author long ago and not cry broke after failing to make the de to keep her scholarship. The plot and scripting was good, it is just whomever wrote the summary didn't pay attention to what actually set Author off. He sold his body in order to fulfill the dreams of Lena and she repays him with deceit and lies. Although I don't condone Author's methods, I do however understand what drove him to that point.
