WWF Raw is War on USA Network and WCW Monday Nitro on TNT went head-to-head every Monday night in a TV ratings battle, leading to both companies putting on some of very memorable matches and moments. This series aims to cover every single match and promo during the whole Monday Night War. On WCW Nitro problems continue to escalate between Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage. A steel cage match at WCW Uncensored 1998 will hopefully settle these issues but tonight Hogan and Scott Hall will face Sting and Randy Savage in the Nitro main event. Bret Hart makes his in-ring Nitro debut when he faces Brian Adams of the nWo. On the WWF channel Mike Tyson and Shawn Michaels have an in-ring confrontation, the results of this confrontation have serious implications for the WrestleMania 14 main event.
