In his hidden laboratory deep in Russia, Dr. Karl Zimmer has invented the Mandroid, a humanoid robot which follows the motions of a man in a special control suit. He has offered the invention to the USA, who have sent Smith and Wade from the CIA for inspection. However Zimmer's partner Drago has different plans, wants to sell Mandroid to the military. The night he tries to steal Mandroid, he becomes exposed to the highly toxic Supercon. But he can flee and won't give up on Mandroid, even though he's terribly disfigured.

Mandroid
Mandroid is about some deformed scientist and well that is how far my attention span went. This movie bored me to f***! The pacing is slow, the story (evidently!!!!) was stupid, the sci fi elements was lacking and above all the characterization was obnoxious. This movie blows floppy donkey d!ck.
MANDROID is yet another cheap and mindless science fiction action flick from Full Moon Pictures, one of their most cliched yet. A no-name cast travel to Romania to shoot a picture which is equal parts ROBOCOP and equal parts DARKMAN, as a new prototype android turns to be a robot with a human soul. Meanwhile, there's a horribly scarred villain on the prowl and lots of wooden acting from the cast members. It's so derivative as to offer nothing new at all, and almost entirely without merit - unless you have a predilection for '90s cheese.
Mandroid! Piloted by a human soul! Yes, YOU control Mandroid. No longer do you have to make sure your instructions aren't misinterpreted, since you control the robot himself! Mandroid is invincible! My favorite quote: "Mr. American scientist. End of the road!"
Though at times MANDROID can be talky and tame, it's worth sticking around if just for the awesome action-packed finale. MANDROID also features good acting, okay special effects and interesting back alleys of Romania. The whole plot of MANDROID is also pretty cool. And, as far as I know, pretty original. When we watch Full Moon Productions, we don't always expect much. But once in awhile, rather interesting Full Moon Productions are created. Films like PUPPET MASTER were okay. But films like MANDROID are a bit more interesting and better made. ***out of****It would have been a bit better if it wasn't too talky, but all in all a very enjoyable Full Moon effort.
